Simple, Modern Baubles – My New Favorites

Earrings have always been my jewelry of choice.  I have quite a collection of them, from simple studs to elaborate, dangling ones.  Here are my most recent finds.

These brass Button Post Earrings by Club Monaco are not only simple and modern,  they are also substantial and striking, especially when worn with simple monochrome tops, which are essentially my daily staples.  1.5″ in diameter, they aren’t too big or small but just the perfect size for me.  They are a little on the heavy side, though, but I like them so much that I am keeping them.  They are a must for those who love minimalist styles.

The Cleo Hoop Earrings, an online exclusive from Anthropologie, are simple, modern and stylish.  They aren’t perfectly round, which I like.  Also at 1.5″ diameter, they are made of plated metal and are lighter than the Button Post Earrings.  They are not as striking, perhaps, but more current and unique in comparison to a regular pair of round hoop earrings.  They are especially pretty when worn with floral tops and dresses.
