Happy Monday to all of you.
Here is our ever-expanding wish list for April. Don’t be surprised if we continue to update this list as new spring collections bloom and blossom throughout the month.
TOPS:
Yara Ruffled Floral-Print Cami by Cooper and Ella– This light blue cami is an interplay of mixed floral and animal prints. What makes it especially unique, I think, is the spiral ruffle detail. It’s a very cute top and perfect for layering under denim or leather jacket. It’s perfectly fine as is, for the summer, as well.
Striped-Sleeve Top by Marled – This is an elegant, mixed media, mock neck top with contrasting stripe patterns. I love the gray color and its details like the lace and ruffle trims along the seams of its raglan sleeves and the elastic ruffled cuffs. I must admit that this style is a little out of my comfort zone. LOL! But I do love gray and ruffles. Should I give it a try?
Danby Silk Top by Joie – Paisley and floral prints come together in soft pastel hues in this airy and romantic blouse. Details like the stitched front panel and drawstring peplum waist only add to the feminine charm of this beautiful piece.
OUTERWEAR:
Botanical Faux Leather Bomber Jacket by AQUA – Bomber jacket continues to be a hot item this spring. I particularly like this white jacket with its vibrant colored floral pattern. Floral pattern +Bomber jacket = Irresistible!
DRESSES:
Riley Floral Print Silk Dress by HOBBS LONDON – Let me just say that I am completely in love with this dress. The soft light pink color and the soft floral print on this dress reminds me of the delicate beauty of my favorite flower, the soft pink peonies. It is such a graceful and elegant dress. It is a pricey though. Hopefully, I can get it during promotion before my size runs out. Wish me luck!
Gingham Tie Waist Ruffled Shirt Dress by Express – If you think you can’t look feminine and flirty in gingham, you are absolutely wrong! A shirt dress never looks less structured than this romantic piece with a tie waist, ruffles and a flounce skirt. Express has been having deals on dresses so if gingham is your thing (as it is mine), be sure to check it out.
SKIRTS:
Waves for Days Maxi Wrap Skirt by Lovers+Friends – Summer is not only the best time for maxi dresses but also for maxi skirts. The bold floral prints against black fabric makes it both a versatile and a striking piece to own. With ruffle edges on its high-low hem, striking is the right word, indeed.
Sasha Tulle Skirt by Allison New York – I don’t think any woman who has dreamed of being a ballerina as a little girl could really say no to a tulle skirt. I have secretly wanted to wear one for a while now and this tulle and lace skirt might just give me the courage to do it. A midi, nude in color, pleated and tiered in design, it has a vintage feel to it that I find especially alluring. Not quite sure how I would style it, to be honest, but I think I’ll welcome the challenge.
PANTS:
Blythe Wide Leg Pants by Anthropologie I have been itching to try on these paper-bag pants. They look chic and comfortable with the flattering high waist and wide legs. I can’t wait to get a pair for the summer when I usually avoid tight skinny jeans that seem to trap the heat around my legs. They come in both moss and pink color offerings. What do you think of these pants? I never thought they would make a come back but I am seriously thinking of getting a pair now.
SHOES:
Tea Rose Jelly Flat Sandal in Peony by Coach – Nothing beckons summer like a pink color jelly sandals with pink floral appliqués. Casual and pretty, they look super comfortable too.
Yuli Suede Grommet Block Heel Sandals by Sam Edelman – The 3.94″ wrapped block heel is definitely out of my league since I can’t wear anything over 3″ anymore. But, how I love gladiator style with covered button studs, grommet trims, and suede upper. This style comes in both light pink and black.
Dakota Military Boot by AllSaints – My obsession with military boots is not coming to an end anytime soon, I suspect. I really like these pair by AllSaints. The mix of criss-cross straps, buckle and studs just elevate it to a whole new level of coolness.
BAGS:
Billie Mini Crossbody by Allsaints – This mini crossbody may not be the most practical bag since it is on the tiny side but I am loving the three compartments it offers and of course, the studded details on the strap which simply add sass to style. It comes in almond brown, black, blush pink and slate gray. My personal pick would be the slate gray.
What do you think of our wish list? We would love to hear your thoughts and please feel free to help us add more items to our list. The longer, the merrier.
