Poetic and Sweet Camo Tees

My go-to pieces for the summer are undoubtedly t-shirts and light-colored, destructed, boyfriend denims.  I don’t think I can live without t-shirts and I am especially taken with  the ones with interesting twists.  I like lace and floral prints but I am starting to feel a little “flowered-out” so no, you won’t find them on this post. *Sorry!*  Here are two t-shirts that I am currently loving.

Lovers Dreams Tee by AllSaints

The Lovers Dreams Tee by AllSaints  was recommended to me by a persistent sales person.  I was telling her that it would be too long on me and thus, sloppy but she proceeded to tell me it’s on sale right now, that it looks chic just about on everyone and put the smallest size in my hand.  I ended up trying it out and LOVING it!  Thanks, persistent lady!  Soft and silky smooth, the fabric is heavenly.  The drape, however, is its best feature.  It is oversized, drapes so nicely and looks chic just as is with denim and tights.  Purely effortless!  You can tie a knot to the side for a slightly different look since there is enough fabric for that.  As for the picture of the two birds with a heart, it’s the very reason for the cool, poetic vibe of this washed-black tee.

Roadtrip Flutter Sleeve Tee by T.La_Store

The Roadtrip Flutter-Sleeve Tee by t.la in moss is actually a t-shirt with green camo print and … flutter sleeves.  Yes, you read it right.  It took me a few minutes to decide if I liked the combination of camo with flutter sleeves.  This is camo print we are talking about!  Military-inspired, tough, camo print. But, it works!  The flutter sleeves are just right without being overwhelming and the overall cut is loose with a slight high-low hem.  Super cute especially when tucked in a little in the front!  Think of this shirt as a tough girl shirt with a touch of feminine frill.  A sweet camo shirt, indeed.  FYI..Material is a little sheer so cami might be necessary if you are going with the lighter color options.

Are you shopping for new tees for the summer?
