O, Chloe, How I Love Thee…

When I think of Chloe, spring time in New York City comes to mind.  I still remember getting my first glimpse of Chloe’s designs many years ago on a rare trip to the Big Apple with my friends.  I remember entering one of its stores, situated on a charming small and narrow street, and falling in love with everything I laid eyes on.  From its clothing lines to its bags, Chloe, to me, was the epitome of  dreamy, feminine designs. And, it is still very much so.

I had recently seen Chloe’s bags on display and oh how I wished I could own of these beauties.  The first to beckon me over was the Small Drew Bijou Print Bag, I find this particular print with its color palette to be refreshingly artistic and striking against the white of the bag.  It’s an art piece, a conversation starter for sure.   I also like the visual appeal of its metal shoulder strap which is made of overlapping round chains of varying sizes.  It also comes with a removable and an adjustable cross-body strap which is a lot more practical for frequent use.  It also comes in other colors and prints, whichever suits your taste.  It also comes in quilted smooth calfskin.  See the elegant white quilted option below.

The fun doesn’t stop here, of course.  There is one more that I really wish I could bring home with me and that is the Pixie Colorblock Round Shoulder Bag.  It’s made of a mix of calf skin and suede panels, accentuated with chic metal studs for some sass.  And do you see those brass handles?  I love how all the different elements contrast and complement each other so seamlessly, yet so uniquely.  It comes with a removable shoulder strap as well.

What do you think of these Chloe bags?  I have just added them to my list of most-coveted bags. Just seeing them made me quite happy.  I would be even happier if I could own them but for now, feasting my eyes on them will have to do.

Have a great weekend to all of you!
