Spring Lace Tops

As Dee noted in Spring of Many Colors, I too, am totally ready for the spring. Regardless what the groundhog predicted, here are some cute white lace tops from Anthropologie, Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom that I have just added to my wardrobe for the coming spring season.

Elmira Buttondown (It is available in all sizes.)

This top is casual and yet elegant in its own way. There are a lot of beautiful lace work here to admire but what I love most are the sleeves. Lace and flowers run the length of the sleeves which end in a Victorian style lace cuff, making this blouse very special. The gauze material gives an ethereal feel to the top. Although it is white in color, thanks to the lace details, you can easily match this top with a white bottom, be it denim or regular pants for a truly classic look.

Cambridge Buttondown (This top is sold out online. Try in store if you are interested.)

This top has quite a lot of lace detail, as well, but it definitely has a more casual feel. It is shorter in length and has a more relaxed fit. I can totally see myself wearing this top on a beautiful spring weekend running errands or taking a stroll in the park.

Sandro striped lace top

This is a crop lace top that sits just a little below my waist line. It may seem like a simpler top with lace only at the cuffs and the bottom, yet the delicate lace trims definitely give this top a refined and chic vibe. Unfortunately, this top is sold out in white online at Bloomingdale’s.com. I stumbled upon a size 1 in the store last week. However, the same top in black looks great, as well, if that is your go-to color. Good luck hunting!

Embroidered Lace Top by Maje

This top is by Sandro’s sister company.  I love Maje clothing, particularly, its lace tops.  I find that this brand goes that extra mile in making sure that the details are done right. The sleeves are semi sheer with a soft, silky feel to it.  Combined with the lace pattern and the the ruffles along the neck and cuffs, this blouse is both delicate and cute.

Burnham Lace Top

The combination of different lace patterns on this top make it unique and charming. This top is a bit more structured than the other ones in this post. Even though it is rather short in length (sits right at my waist), I am still able to slightly tuck it into my jeans. It is a trendy and an easy-to-match top. This blouse also comes in another color, mustard yellow, which is very much in vogue right now.

I hope you get to try on some of these lace tops as we venture into spring and I would love to hear what you think of them.
