Today, I am writing about a simple yet enduring piece that I recently added to my closet. This is the time of the year when transition pieces become our wardrobe essentials, when we find temperature hovering between “not freezing” and “not quite warm”. Lighter sweaters and pullovers have become my go-to pieces and I have found a new favorite in a ruffle neck sweater by J.Crew in heather nickel.
It’s an effortless and classic sweater that I find so pretty in its simple design, its feminine ruffle neck and its modern textured chevron detailing. It also feels soft and cozy, which is always a huge plus to me. I find the length to be just right, with the ribbed hem ending a little under the waist.
I think it looks good with everything. It looks casual and chic layered under a utility jacket and paired with denim for the weekends. It can also look elegant when worn under a blazer and paired with a more tailored pants or skirt during weekdays.
I love it when something pretty is easy and practical too. Don’t you?
